Advanced Search Here are a few tips for using our Advanced Search: The best hint is to be specific, but not too specific! (If that makes sense) For example, while searching for the Lyman 1200 Digital Powder System, typing 1200 DPS in the keywords block will not display any results. However, typing 1200 and entering Lyman in the Manufacturer drop down box will produce several results, of which, the Lyman 1200 Digital Powder System is one. The reason the first search did not work is because the search was looking to find 1200 DPS exactly, and could not find it in our item descriptions.
Another example: A die set for a 300 Winchester Short Mag could be labeled several different ways, 300 WSM, 300 WIN SHORT MAG, 300 WINCHESTER SHORT...etc. Again, a search through our database on every item with 300 WSM may result in die sets, ammunition, shell holders...etc. So the most effective search would be performed by typing 300 W S M DIE (Make sure spaces are between search critera) 
These keywords will search our descriptions for items containing 300, W, S, M and DIE only. Further specify that search by using the manufacturer and department dropdowns. |
