The Hornady 6.5mm 143 Grain ELD-X bullets are specifically designed to ensure proper expansion, even at low velocities, upon contact with the target. The 6.5mm 143 Grain ELD X bullet is equipped with a high quality jacket to ensure superior accuracy and the ELD X bullet design produces ultra-flat trajectories. The improved polymer tip is Doppler verified to no distort due to heating under any condition tested.

Summary

The .264 Diameter 143 Grain ELD X bullets are designed to have immediate and violent expansion upon contact with the target. The expansion is not dependent upon high velocity either. Upon low-velocity 400+ yard impacts, the Heat Shield® tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion. Exhibiting conventional expansion with a large mushroom and 85-90% retained weight the bullet provides deep penetration and large wound cavities.
