Midsouth carries the Premium Curved Recoil Pad Mega 2"x5.5" Butt Plate from Morgan. The Premium Curved Recoil Pad Mega 2"x5.5" Butt Plate uses CNC Machined aluminum mounting plates. The #14M has the standard Curved Shoulder Pad that provides a stable, repeatable position on the shooter's shoulder. The new Mega Butt Plate measures 2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches long, has straight sides, and is meant to be trimmed to match the stock by the installer. Mounting holes must be drilled in the butt plate where appropriate for your stock. The recoil pad adjusts up and down (11/16 inch rise, 13/16 inch drop). By adjusting the amount of squeeze on the recoil absorbing sponge rubber, the feel of the pad can be changed (harder/softer). All Morgan recoil pads will add about 1 1/4 inches to the length of the stock, and include instructions on mounting and adjustments. Morgan recoil pads do not rotate or move sideways.
