Product Overview

Midsouth offers the 24 Nosler Competition Set. This set of dies incorporates both sizing and seating completion micrometer dies. The Competition Bushing Neck Die set has a patented design with tighter manufacturing tolerances due to the details of the patented seating stem system. The 24 Nosler Die bullet guide to seating stem fit is so precise that the seating stem can actually "float" on a column of air. The Competition Seating Die seating stem for the 24 Nosler is precision ground to exactly match bullet diameter. Alignment and accuracy are enhanced by the cartridge case and bullet being completely supported and aligned in a close fitting, precision ground sleeve before the bullet seating begins. The Competition Seating Die micrometer is calibrated in .001" increments for precise seating depth and is infinitely adjustable (without clicks). The micrometer also has a setting feature that allows you to set the micrometer to your rifle or favorite seating depth. The Neck Sizing Dies are heat treated to ensure a perfect sizing every time on all quality brass. The 24 Nosler dies have a neck expander and decapping rod built right in to perform all the steps to prep your cases for primer, powder and a bullet. These Competition dies use precision ground bushings that come in increments of .001 to ensure you are getting 100% of the possible performance from you brass and your cartridges. The Competition Set also contains a Body Die. Body Dies full length resize the case and bump the shoulder position for proper chambering without changing the case neck. They are made without internal parts and only resize cases which have become hard to chamber after many reloading's and firings.

*NOTE Bushings not included. The easiest way to determine the proper bushing size for your cartridge is to measure the neck diameter of several loaded or dummy rounds. (These dummy cartridges can be loaded with your old set of dies or a borrowed set.) Then, simply subtract 0.001" from the cartridge that had the smallest average measurement. This will allow for a slight amount of spring back and create a proper press fit for the bullet.
