Berger’s 300 Norma Magnum 230 Grain Hybrid OTM Tactical rifle ammunition was purpose built to meet and exceed the accuracy and reliability requirements of elite special forces units around the world. The 300 Norma Magnum first picked up momentum as an Extreme Long Range shooting favorite, but became more and more popular as special forces programs began to see the potential of this cartridge in both sniper rifle platforms and belt-fed guns.
The 30 Caliber 230gr Hybrid Rifle Bullet utilizes Berger’s industry-leading hybrid ogive, which blends tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. The 230 Grain weight allows for a higher velocity load at the cost of BC when compared to our 215 Grain offering. The Hybrid Target Rifle Bullets are competition proven and a favorite amongst today’s top long range competition shooters. Made with J4 Precision Jackets, the Hybrid’s like all other Berger Rifle Bullets, have exacting tolerance and near perfect construction.
Berger loads this round with premium 300 Norma Magnum Lapua brass, a temperature stable powder, and a match grade primer to ensure that the round will perform exactly as expected in varied temperatures and altitudes.
