Product Overview:

The 1851 Navy Black Powder Revolver in 44 Caliber with Brass Frame, Walnut Grip, and 7.5 Inch Octagonal Barrel was heavily relied on during the Civil War by Union Army soldiers for sort range and close quarters combat. Its high capacity for the times allowed for several rounds per minute to be fired before having to reload. Though typically issued to officers or mounted soldiers, some were purchased privately or found on the battlefield.
